EPT Lab · FAQ

Questions we actually get

What is EPT Lab?

A privacy-first portfolio tracker: stocks, crypto, DeFi positions and metals in one net worth — without handing over your identity or your broker credentials. Read-only by architecture.

Why don't you ask for my name or email?

Because the service doesn't need them. Accounts are account numbers, like Mullvad does it. We can't leak, sell or be forced to hand over data we never collected.

How does tracking work without my broker login?

Two ways: paste a public wallet address (we read on-chain data — we can see positions, never touch them), or import the CSV/PDF statements your broker already gives you. No credentials, nothing to break, nothing to leak.

Is this legal? Don't financial apps require KYC?

KYC applies to companies that hold or move your money — custodians, exchanges, brokers. EPT Lab is none of those: it is read-only software, like a spreadsheet with better analytics. A read-only tracker is not a crypto-asset service provider under EU MiCA. We never hold funds, keys or execute anything.

How do payments work?

Paid tiers are prepaid — fixed periods, no auto-renew by default. You can pay in stablecoins (USDC/USDT) without a card or a name. Unused prepaid time is refundable within 30 days of purchase.

Do you give investment advice or signals?

Never. Everything in the product and on the blog is educational. We are deliberately read-only and sell-you-nothing: no trading, no advisory, no products pushed on your portfolio. That neutrality is the point.

Who is behind EPT Lab?

Oblyx LLC, a Delaware company, named on every page. The people are pseudonymous, permanently — trust is placed in what ships, not in a founder's face. Read the Transparency page and the manifesto for the full argument.

How do I get access?

The waitlist is open on the homepage. Invites go out progressively as the platform proves stable.
